Worse part is, he wasn't even bunny hopping .

I personally think Karkand is a great map, SOMETIMES. He was specifically going for the navy cross, as he just needs 100BR score, so I figured 24player 64 karkand would be a good go, especially as commander . . . boy that idea died FAST.

Well, as you probably know, there are hundreds of other 24/7 Karkand servers to try on.

nothing worse than playing in a server against a dude from admin. As soon as they cant take it they kick ya. but they are soon quick to use all the dirty tricks to their gain.
What can you do when you play against crap players who like to act like god.

You play bf2 with your Dad? Your 59 year old Dad? You should get the rest of the family involved, start a Clan called The Sopranos.

I got kicked for excessive TK earlier on, before the the game had actually started (only about 6 people on the server), after gunning down an admin with the Essex minigun a few times. Thing is, everyone TKs before a game starts, it's good fun and good practice IMO.

I play, my dad plays, my uncle plays, and my cousin plays. All are above 40, except for myself. We've been gaming like this every night since CS 1.3ish. From there we went to condition zero, then BF1942, then DC, then Source, then DC hardcore again , now BF2 :p.

And yes, I am Italian, so the Sopranos deal might not be far off :p.

Nah. It doesn't bother me that much. Doesn't really bother me at all. Just sharing my experience, and giving you guys the heads up. Like I said, I'm not going to cry over ONE admin on ONE server. There's PLENTY of other servers to play on!

when i come accross ass-knobs like that, i feel its my civil dutie to other gamers to see to it action is taken to prevent these guys from ruining the game...........they just might be the last straw for alot of ppl who are fed up with all the nonsense that comes with this game..

Well I can say sorry you had such an experience on our server. But it is also nice to relay the otherside of the story. I saw in the log you said you were going to post something in this forum, and I have no worries of the outcome. I was not the admin on during this issue but I was reading over the text log and it went on for quite sometime.

I have to say, that some of the fault was of the admin on duty. I dont content nor do I stoop to a level of pointless arguing on the server as it does distract the other players who are on the server to enjoy the game. Although you did admit you bunny hop like crazy and showed lots of disrespect (but again I dont hold that against you because the admin should never argue, just remove players who is hindering the game for others) every server is different. And one of our rules is "No Bunny Hopping" You failed to comply and if it was me who was the admin, I would had removed you sooner. To be honest, as I stated before the bickering shouldnt had of continued. The proper solution would had been for you to be removed for failure to comply AND the ADMIN should gone through the proper steps of warning the player in a professional manner. Our servers remain packed because people enjoy our rules. We dont allow bunny hopping, nor do we allow artillery to be sent to the carrier on Wake.

Our servers remain at capacity because people enjoy the no nonsense appoach we take when it comes to running our servers. I am not writting this is defense, if anything had happened out of this it would be we have seen some new faces. So in the end your post was noted by some and ignored by others. I hope you have a good day and thanks for sending some more server guests our way.

This is why when Battlefield 2 admins get me down I go to my favourite CS server where the admins can actually handle dying.

karkand is my fav map yet APC and tanks whore it.and there are alot of noobs on karkand then i just lay low someplace and snipe there noob asses

Once again, this is what I mean. Where did I EVER say I bunny hop like crazy? If you're talking about my first post, then SAY EXACTLY what I wrote.

I might jump once in a while whilst getting shot for the first time, but that's it.

If you're talking about your server log, then RE-READ it. I told Jon:

What exactly was the other side of the story? I explained that I may hop when first getting shot (which this is NOT bunny hopping). I even said I may have thrown the word "***" in the mix . . . what else is there to say? Also, I NEVER said I was going to post up on this site. I said he could kick me, and I will post my experience of his bad administrating on the forums . . . never mentioned TBF2 . . .

Really? Wow . . . the truth be told is it didn't last even 5-6 minutes . . . then again I was there, I should know. As a matter of a fact, why not post up the unedited server log? I already told where I may have gone wrong, but why not let other members read the so called "argument" in it's rawest form? I have no problems with it . . .

I've come to the conclusion that you guys ACT before anything else. I never admited "I bunny hop like crazy," I DID tell both sides of the story, I WASN'T the one kicked for bunny hopping, I didn't argue for "quite sometime". If you would have taken the chance to actually READ, then ABSORB my first post, without replying as if it was a race to the finish line, just then you may have gotten some of the facts straight.

I've said it in the begginning. I used to play on your server around last fall. Never had a problem; as a matter of a fact it was "favorited". I NEVER blamed the whole clan, or the server. I specifically said to stay out when Jon was admining. I MAY possibly revisit the server when he's not there, as the last time I checked, I wasn't banned, simply kicked; though I may be now . . . who knows.

All I'm doing is sharing the stale experience with your member JonTheDestroya, and possibly suggesting that you guys take a second to think about when you throw the boot, banhammer, or replies at others. Because I know for a FACT that he didn't bunny hop, and if Jon would have taken an extra minute to watch the Boss play, he'd realize that he had gotten the players names wrong. I only wish you guys had the BF recorder set up becuase then I could prove it.

Then again, it all boils down to the fact that it's over and done with. I simply wanted to share my recent experience on the server and it is because of this experience that I will always double check the servers player list before I join agian . . . if I join again.

I'd just like to compliment you on your attitude and I wish others would learn from it. Its a refreshing change!

Also its always good to hear both sides of the story. For me I ignore these types of threads when its only the players perspective because we should know by now they tend to leave out important details. I'm suprised the never ending number of players that take these kinds of threads as gospel when you have only heard 1 side to the story. I do think -BS- will get more people playing on their server from this thread because of their rules so its a win win for them.

Only reason I'm putting time into my post is because of the wrong information you put forth. As I said, I'm not arguing, just correcting misinformation.
