Bots on local game?

I was wondering if it is possible to add bots to a local game, they are going to be running new cable lines nearby so im not going to have internet for a while and i was wondering if me and my brother could play a game together with bots, one on one gets a little old after a while.

One of you start single player, and the other one go to multiplayer and chose "Connect to IP".

Sure, no problem. When he connects to your IP, you computer actually becomes the host for a local game with bots. Well, not neccessarily local, as you can put in ANYONE's IP who's running a single player "server."

You could also use the new co-op mode support added in patch 1.3 which makes things a bit easier. You don't need the ip any more for local net games.
