Which Expansion?

K, Im probably gettin an expansion, and I wanted to start downloading it tonight (its 9:30 PM here), but I dont know which one I should get.. I was thinking id probably get SF since you get all the extra weapons and stuff.. any input? (I have NO knowledge of any of the expansions except that SF you get more weapons) Or should I get neither, and buy like Counterstrike Source? cause it comes with CSS, DODS, and HL2 DM

Special Forces is the only "expansion". EF and AF are only booster packs.

=D you all knew what I ment =P So is that a yes, get SF? lol.. I really wanna get SF, or one of the boosters, but then again I wanna get CS:S/DOD:S

buy css imo. i have special forces expansion, i played it a few times and wasnt impressed. most of the maps are crap, except the ones at night. basically its just bf2 with different skins, loads of crap maps, a few different guns.. but most of the time theyre not even available for your team.

And thats why you dont play SF that much. The night maps suck big time. The most popular are Warlord, Ghost, Surge, and Mass....all day maps that kick butt.

Get SF. It has a whole new meaning to BF2. You have to play as a team to win. If you just go out and "Rambo" ignoring teamplay, then your side will lose and you will not like the game.

For boosters, get AF. This again is a team booster. "Rambo's" can go play another game cause here again you have to have team play to win.

For those that say the pubs do not have team play, then you need to either start a squad and invite the players to it then lead them, or you need to find another server.

SF is awesome, if you play right. AF comes a close second. Never tried EF, but I've heard it's "meh". Both SF and AF are money well spent, though.

I own all 3, and have to say I find myself playing (and enjoying) SF the most. Especially that Ghost Town map as Spetsnaz.
