How To Save Our Bf2 !

This thread was started after conversations with several other BF2 server admin's.



Why don't EA/Dice listen to the server admins, we know what the community are asking for. We are the people that keep the multiplayer side of gaming alive.

FIRSTLY THE 1.3 SERVER CRASHES NEED TO BE SORTED QUICKLY, THE COMMUNITY IS DROPPING SHARPLY. IF THE CRASHES CONTINUE THE REST OF THIS THREAD WILL NOT MATTER.

It's been 12 months now since BF2 vanilla came out. In that time not ONE new city map has been released for the ranked servers. We only had 3 city maps (Kark-Mashtu-Sharq) with Vanilla and none with any of the booster packs thus far (Forget SF as its a standalone).

Please FFS sell us a map pack for the ranked servers, with an equal amount of urban and rural warfare maps, 5-8 maps of each would be good. No need for a full or half mod, just a regular supply of evenly balanced rural and urban maps.

What would be a decent price, in about the £20/$30 would be pretty good.

Booster packs are a waste of time and money.EA downloader is to complicated for the majority of people.

Get the product back on the high street shelves.:)

1=they dont listen because what we want cost more money an time.
2=i agree ive already noticed a big drop in players(how many servers there are an how full).
3=theres loads of new maps!you just have to pay for them or install the mods.
4=most of the maps are balaced its just the whiners cryin when they get owned,rember the good old infantry saying "adapt an over come"
for most of the players they have learnt to over come an find new ways of taking out hostile inf/vech.
5=£20 mark sounds ok for any pc game :P
6=booster packs are great(i suggest AF to any bf2 fan) they are what keeps players playin.
sorry aboout your problems with EAD ive had none from day one.
7=yes get it back on the shelf ive put all of my booster packs to disc so i dont have to dl them again.
8=they never listen because its mainly complaints

You're getting your hopes up... EA's probably going to drop support for BF2 after 1.4, provided they don't **** this one up. They're gonna start trying to shove 2142 down our throats after they patch BF2 for what'll probably be the last time.
