Installing BF2 Question

I just finished installing BF2 so I have a clean, unpatched v1.0 on my system.

I would like to install BF2: Special Forces and the booster packs. I have checked a number of websites and there are a huge number of patches and incremental patches, some of which say they are out of date.

I was wondering if someone could please tell me what patches I need and in what order I need to install them so I can get completely up-to-date?

Does the 1.3 full patch replace all of the prior patches or do I have to install all of the incremental patches?

Yea like Nmyster says, but i would install BF2:SF before the 1.3 patch

When I try to instal SF it says I need the 1.2 patch installed.

If I install the 1.2 full patch so I can install SF, will this let me skip over the patches prior to 1.2? (Like patch 1.01 & 1.12)

Also, if I have to install 1.2, wont I then have to install all the incremental patches to get to 1.3 or will 1.3 override all of them?

No you can't installe EF or AF if you don't have at least patch 1.22 so i would say

AF
