Well im having this problem when i try to enable x-fi with ultra high settings it crashes to desk top. i have the mode in game mode. About a month ago i reformatted my computer and also the new patch came out a couple weeks ago. but b4 all that it was working fine?? ne one know what may be the problem.

try going to creative.com support, and downloading the latest drivers. dont unsintall the current ones, just install the latest and restart the comp. then try again.

bf2 doesnt allow ultra high settings. not sure y. i found this prob on the search. someone provided a link to dl the creative beta driver that resolves this issue. try search for it. the link is in here somewhere.

That's pretty much the official fix
(downloading the latest drivers from Creative)
I think everybody with an X-Fi who uses their out-of-the-box drivers gets a CTD when changing to Ultra-High and X-Fi mode in BF2.
Complete and utter shame that something like that can happen.

what the hell are you talking about? OF COURSE it allows Ultra High, why else would it provide it if it didnt allow it. You need an x-fi card to use it, and sometimes it gets messed up and doesnt allow it. notice, I said get the latest drivers and he said it now works. :)
