I've been wondering a few things about dodging AA missles in plains (fyi im fairley new to the game), and I want to know the opinions of my fellow players on if you think backflips and barrel rolls are good dodging tactics.

Re: AA dodging questions
I find it best to pull up at a 20 degree angle then do a charp turn down and to the left towards the ground then immediately start doing loops and turns at the same time. Hard to explain but you'll never get shot down, but subsquently people will accuse you of cheating since their missles wont hit and then bring it to TBF2 and have your stats reset, LOL. -

Ya, in the J-10's if you ask me what the X button does i'll have to go look it up in the hand book.LOLOriginally posted by Sir. BladesDepends on the plane. F35 you could go into ****ing space and the missle will jsut follow you there. J10, flare and turn and they magically turn away. A lot of times you dont even need to flare.
EDIT: the poll isnt very accurate, different planes use different tactics.
But here are 2:
F-35: YOU ARE SCREWED! but maybe loops could work.Best bet is to eject, lol.
J-10: Do a combination of back flips and rolls at the same time by pulling down-left/down-right on a joystick, or moving your mouse down-left/down-right aswell.Comment
