planting and blowing up single C4, not whole lot?

was wondering if there is a way of doing this, have searched the forum but can't find an answer....

just to blow up a single lot of c4 instead of having to plant all 5 or so...

Hmmm, do you mean plant all 5 C4, and only detonate the one u want?

Or do you mean throw a C4 down, and then blow that one up?

In the case of the latter, you have to right click to detonate however many C4 u have on the ground. Sorry if u already know this, thats how i understood your post.

Nah I don't think you're able to detonate just 1 C4, if you've got 3, all of them will go off.

Kris had it right, you just right click to switch to detonator.

The OP is thinking you have to lay out all your C4 to switch to detonator.

Just be careful, once in a long while you get a little hiccup of lag and as soon as you throw your last pack. BOOM!!!! You kill yourself...LOL!!!
It sucks but it happens once in a while and it is really quite funny..

sometimes when i throw 1 c4, and switch to detonator....i pres the det. and throw a c4 instead....its gotten me killed quite a bit....that was pre 1.3 tho.......does this still occur?

lol....place 4 c4's on the UAV....blow 1&2.....UAV gets repaired...blow 3&4

scenarioslike that might be unbfair, so i think of they did that, c4 should be destructable by c4.......if it isnt already, i dont think it is

that'd be dumb.. I always get my two back off the supply drop repairing it. then blow again.

unless an engie comes to repair it, in which case you could blow ur second two charges right before he walks away, get a point for destroying commander assetts, and two for the kill.....


with that in mind, i might leave a lil present for an engie next time i go....after blowing it, place a c4 on the assets charred remains, so if it gets repaired by an engineer, i can give him a surprise

Yeah that's the only way to do it. Place 1 or 2 remaining underneath it on either side. Luck to the next engie!

thx guys, was asking about blowing up just 1 c4 after planting 1, ie not planting 5 and blowing up just 1 :) - will switch to the detonator now, somehow wasn't able to before, have to try again.

Just make sure I'm not around as if there is demolished ary/uav stuff around i've gotten into the habit of laying claymores in the wreckages :evil:
