Would you buy the Expansions/Booster Packs if:

Assuming you have not purchased an expansion or booster for this game, would you buy one if the original BF2 maps got updated by the expansion/booster as well?

IE A new version of all the maps included in the original BF2 would be included that used some of the new vehicles and weapons.

Think Sharqi Peninsual with a Hind and Apache.

Think Strike at Karkland with the Euro Forces tanks.

Think Oman with Little Birds, Blackhawks and Apache's.

I think you get the idea.

i would like to see the old maps with AF scout helis and attack jets(but they would have to up the power on them or they would be worthless) and same with SF tools like zip lines on all maps, but either way i would buy them if they did or not

I already have all the expansion/booster packs. If they only had new version of the old maps I wouldn't have got them, but if they had their current maps plus the old maps it would have been a nice bonus.

Nope, and the devs have said they wouldn't do things like a night time version of SaK for the Special Forces expansion because it would feel like you're just rebuying the game again.

But, you know how great a night version of Sharqi and Karkand would be if it were free for SF owners?! Man!!! you think they would get some new sales for people wanting to play those maps! Hell it would be worth it for EA to do it because new intrest would generate in ranked SF servers just because of those two maps.

Hmm, it might be nice if they had an expansion pack with all the 'classic' maps. I am sure it would generate some revenue.

Be like I said, give away free night versions of SaK and Sharqi. That would be gold for EA. LOL, and not much work because they already have the maps made! Good luck flying the helos at night! Time to put some lights on those things.

About the classic maps, THIS IS A GREAT IDEA. I would buy/pre-order that expansion pack the first day it would go on sale/pre-sale.

if thay updated all the BF2 maps 4 SF would be great would make the maps like new one would have 2 think about were u were goin me coz ppl on top of bilding with grapaling hucks etc would make the game much beter .

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the vehicles from SF in the original maps. Putting the TOW Humvee in Karkand would really level the playing field as far as infantry vs. armour.

no more of my money for EA until they earn it....

points/awards dont mean anything to me, i would be able to go into bf2 editor, learn how to use it, edit these maps myself, and find an unranked server that plays it.....all for free...

if only there werent ranks/awards, and all that other crap, better custom maps would be more popular.....just like UT, i never played the official maps on multiplayer......then again..the maps were fun, and easy to make

I guess, I really feel like some of this should be free. Because it is not really new content and would just be modified original content. I think I would be cool playing stuff. Hell, release a booster pack with all the good BF1942 & BF:V maps.

The problem with that though, that is a lot of development time making them. That would most likely not keep the cost down.
