Legion Of Merit need advice and help

Please can someone answer my two questions. I just don't understand why I have not gain The Legion Of Merit ribbon maybe I am miss understanding it

I have played as squad leader and gained 52 points (see jpeg) and my team had a score of 156 but still did not get the Legion Of Merit. I then played in a team and had a score of 56 and the same thing did not gain the ribbon. What am I doing wrong?


Can someone be kind to tell what I am doing wrong or is it a bug in the game?

* 200h total time played
* 10 kill streak
* 8 death streak

you dont need to be squad leader you need to get revives, heal, repair, flagcap and ammo to get get team points

* 30 kill streak
* 14 death streak

Did you see my jpeg I enclosed. you need to get revives, heal, repair, flagcap and ammo to get get team points. So I will have to play with medic, support, and supply then take a flag? Is this correct?

adding to what Khan said... team points are different than your global score (GS) points. Your 52 points was global. Team points has the icon with the wrench and medic symbols, in a 2x2 box...

ya you need team points, go medic on a small map and it will be easy

It's not your TEAMS points, it's your individual team score.
Meaning, if your team has 300 points, that means nothing. YOU need to get 50 teamwork points by capping flags, defending flags, heals, revives, repairs, resupplies, etc.

When you hit yout TAB button in game to bring up your scores, the read out is like this, from LEFT to RIGHT:

Global Score - Teamwork Points - Kills - Deaths

With that said, you need a value greater than or equal to 50 under the second column.

Got mine on Karkand 64 player, just the usual thing, go medic and the nade spam and just healed and revived those who got kille by the nades.

defending a flag is 2 pts. for your team score... it's a good way to rack up points fast.

I just got mine yesterday. I did it by having a good gunner in the seat of the MEC attack helo on Sharqi. We were in the air almost the whole round ripping up the construction site and alleyway. Bam, Legion of Merit Badge. Team assists are the key to that badge I believe...Get in an AH and get a good gunner. Worked for me...

Medic Whoring on Karkand is how I nabbed mine,just keep spamming health packs and nab revives as they present themselves.

Thanks for some good comments. Nope did not buy from eBay never will the game was given to me by a friend many months back and I am just starting to get into it and not understand awards. I now do thanks to this forum and members. As for the above quote, should not jump to a conclusion. Thanks to the rest of you for your time and help also guidance

I managed to get mine on a half-full Sharqui round - I just went support, dropping ammo packs everywhere, and capped lots of flags. Because there weren't that many players, it became a game of "round and round the flags", they'd cap, then I'd cap, etc :)

Think of it less as '50 team points IAR' and more...


'25 revives IAR' or
'25 Flag neutrals IAR' or
'25 Flag captures IAR' and...
'25 of any combination of the above...'
