64 player coop with v 1.3

I just baught battlefield 2 deluxe today. And from the way it looks i'll probably never play online due to server issues. So my next option is to play it in multiplayer create your own network game. Unfortnately it will only let me pick 16 players. Anything more and you need to run in standalone mode which i am assuming is having another computer dedicated as a server in your house. Anyways around this?

Make this $50 game not a complete waste of my money as the store will not accept my return.

Might wanna try this- the third d/l on the list is all standard maps in 32/64 player sizes with bots.
Lots of other good maps there too
