Hey just blowing off steam here, anyone have problems when ya shoot the crap outta people and they just turn around and shoot ya dead. I know lag right. Not exactly if there is so much lag issues why in the heck can they shoot me easy then. I have cable great up loads and downloads. I know this is only a game and we are supposed to have fun but wtf whats fun about shooting people and them not dying. Any one have a fix,anything thats helped?. This is becoming a joke. Is it possible for that much packetloss

when you see that hit flash'a'flashing and think "HOORAH" only to run out of ammo, them turn around and blat you is never a good feeling but thats how it goes, i like to annoy people by shooting them with the pistol from a distance, when they turn around stop firing to hide the muzzle flash and then shoot them with my sniper rifle when they turn again :laugh:

Not lag...just learn to aim! Most people are quick to call hacks, lag, internet, or whatever they can come up with, but themselves.

BF2 has bullet spread, recoil, bullet drop, and other factors to deal with. You just aren't hitting them.

shut up. i get this all the time as well. i think it's lag. because I know my connection isn't the greatest. it even happens when people are shooting me and nothing happens, because on comms, my clan says so. so I think atleast for me, alot of times it's lag. i mean come on. when you unload a magazine at someone and you even see all of poofs of dust and the hit indicaters and they just turn and you're dead, without them atleast going through the same thing, it's pretty obvious. I dont suck cuz I know i hit them. they dont suck cuz, well they killed you. it's gotta be lag. whether your ping shows it or not. it's got to be. although this doesn't happen ALL the time so it's not a big deal with me. but I would agree it sucks

I usually just laugh and complain to myself to take my time and AIM. This will reduce the bullet spray and increase your accuracy. I usualy try shoot a couple shots to the head instead of a whole mag! Unless I'm support, then it doesn't run out...
If your behind someone close enough for them to turn around and shoot your head, your definitly close enough to sprint-jump-crouch-knife em', or double shot their head. But whatever. Unload your mag and luck to ya!

Thats why I play mods, so I kill when I HS with assault rifles and such and so the other player may have a good chance of killing me quickly aswell. I don't have the time to sit around playing hop skotch with another player because it takes em 5 shots to kill/KO to the chest becuase i have a flag to take.

This **** happens to me on cs source all the time. After I die I will go and look behind where the person was at. I will have a couple of bullet holes right where they had been. But not one of them register it is so frustating. I dont seem to get to much of that on bf2 but the damn AT rockets are forever going right though a apc or whatever I happen to be shooting at.

this is definitely a coding bug in the game
we see it often
it is NOT your bad aim
we used to think certain players had a "not die hack"
and maybe many do,
but then we started testing amongst ourselves
and it is not consistent

so - we just learned to shrug it off as another Dice screw up

You could have a guy in your crosshairs the entire time, but if you were spraying the entire time, one single bullet may not ever hit. I know you probably don't, but don't be quick to always blame it on lag. If you were lagging, you would notice it from the start. Your movements would be laggy, slow, and jittery. You would jump from here to there. Your shooting wouldn't only be affected, leaving everything else unaffected.

My only issue with lagging is when i lag whenever i get close to a particular player. I cant remember his name, but its a common occurance on wake when he's the opposition. I always seem to lag up when i get into CQB with him, and as a result i die more often than not. Strange, but true. And no, im not crying hack.

Actually, you get the most lag spikes when in a fire fight so it is feasable that you may not notice any lag until your shooting or being shot at. In heavy fire fights with numerous explosions and multiple players/vehicles alot of people experience lag. It might also be partially attributed to computer specs. If you have a crap system and your pushing it to the limits playing BF2 than you prolly can't hit sh1te and you will have this problem till you upgrade, lol.

Alot of the times i have the drop and they dont know iam there. Iam a very good shot,its not a noob thing lol. Ya there are cheats but this is not the issue. Some games i can shoot and they die, most no luck . I think ea just need to work on fixing hit detection. Thx fellas for letting me vent arg lol.

i luv playing on server where my ping says 200, 300 cos no one can hit me. but i still own with that ping. i luv hopping around in front of an enemy until they run out of ammo n reload, then i run up to them n knife the crap outta them. :)
ie: if u cant shoot them, Knife them! if u can still miss them even with a knife, the obvious answer is, U suc.
