How I feel about Dice

Well I don't know about anyone else on this forum but I am totally dishearten by this rubbish 1.3 patch. I had two very good scores and both time the server was lost and we all had to start again or the server became full so I lost my score. My heart goes out to anyone who has lost badges, ribbons and medals and also to the good admins who must feel very angry due to the server dropping thanks to DICE and the cost of running servers is very expensive.

From a personal point I have no intention of buying anymore games from DICE or E&A and I hope that they have got the message that I have lost points. I want to swear as I am feeling so p*ssed off with the whole game now and it is starting to loose my patients. What turn out to be a extremely good well design game has now got worse by so many patches introducing new bugs and errors. As for Battlefield 2142 I have no interest in buying this game no doubt will be ruined by patches and bugs. Dice says the following 'We shall produce games of absolutely top quality'. That is true but then you spoil it by a patch and ruin the game. :cussing:

Sorry if I went on a bit just feeling very upset and cheesed off somewhat and I am sure that I am not alone

Just out of interest do you loose the score if I loose a connection?

You don't lose score if YOU lose connection. It's server-side, and if you connect back to the server before the round ends your score will still be there. At the end of the round the server sends off the scores I think. So if the server crashes everyone loses their score from that round.

You do lose score if the SERVER CRASHES, which is what he's talking about in his first example.

Dice is one of the best dev out there. They made 2 od my favorite game ever bf42 and bf2. I also plan to buy bf2142.

Sucks that you will be missing out on some great games.

Dice makes some good games, but under EA they are very limited.

Remember, Dice made the game, EA is the publisher and pushed the deadline forcing it to be put on shelves sooner than Dice would have wanted.

I hate it when I lose dice to a board game. You have to steal some out of another one. And then you lost those too. So then you can't play the game.

Context people...

Look at how much DICE has put into this game and how much you've gotten out of it. If you weren't a fan of the game, you wouldn't be posting here. Yes, there's issues. I haven't played a single on-line FPS that hasn't, tho.

1.31 will likely be here shortly. With luck they will have managed to hammer down the current pressing problems and get us back into a state of stability that will have some folks eating a little crow.

As a stickler for spelling you must spend your entire day trying to correct spelling mistakes on the internet. In fact, theres so much to do you shouldn't even be wasting the time reading a piece of writing that doesn't have spelling mistakes!
