Question about "favorites"

Hey there,

I have a TON of favorites, and most of them are dead. I want to delete them so BF2 will load faster, but when I click the server and then click "remove," nothing happens. The server list does not change regardless of what I do.

is there a way to just find the file in my BF2 folder and delete it? I've looked around but haven't been successful finding it. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\[Your Profile Name]\General.con

Look for files beginning with GeneralSettings.addFavouriteServer.

I found that file a while back and I deleted it. I later found out what it did and I freaked out. LOL!!!
I am trying to keep my favorites list down to like 15 or so, I have not had any problems so this might be the magic number for me at least. Be sure to delete your cache as well, it seems to help a lot when loading in:

C:\Documents and Settings\Your_Comp_Name\My Documents\Battlefield 2\LogoCache

My favorites list doesn't even scroll for some reason

I don't even bother using the favorites tab. It's just so damn buggy and laggy.

If i refresh my favourites they all disappear!!!

me 2. dont click refresh. hangs the game. if u got a lousy com like mine, crashes it too.
