BF2 1.3 Patch

Alright, I Have BF2 1.1, So I Go DL 1.3 and It Finishes Saying Installation Complete and All That. I Then Open BF2 And It Says I'm Still At 1.1...I Tried Installing 1.2 and I Got the Same Problem...Please Help.

I have the same problem, glad to know i am not the only one. Does anyone have any idea what to do? Heres something that i posted earler on different forums:

"Ok, heres the problem:

1. I uninstalled and reinstalled BF2.
2. I reinstalled BF2 SF
3. I reinstalled patch 1.12 for BF2:SF
4. I installed patch 1.3
5. I installed Euro Forces Booster Pack
6. I installed Armored Fury Booster pack

Now, when i log into BF 2 it says at the bottom of the screen that I am still running version 1.1.28 despite the fact that I have now officially installed patch 1.3 over and over and over again at least 11 times (10 of those were before step one above). Also proior to step one above, after i installed armored fury booster pack, i got an error when i tried to log into a server using the booster pack telling me that i needed to install the booster pack (wtf?!?!?!). I am still getting all these problems even after taking all the previous steps above.

I am really frustrated here and about to burn my computer and throw it out the window, so any help anyone can provide on this matter would be greatly appreciated."

alright...i got the patch to say that it was installed ingame, but i dont get any of the features promised in the 1.3 patch e.g. picking up vehicles etc...please help!

Well i had also a lot of probs with patches this is how i did it
delete the whole game also in register and tempfiles
than i installed bf2 after that bf sf than full patch 1.3
after that you can install boosterpacks and again full patch 1.3 it will work believe me this has cost me alot of anger but it worked
