i had 2 new additions to my fav victims list because of this vehicle drop. i kept dropping vehicles on the enemy commander arty. these 2 guys kept reparing them. i kept artying them. :) 2new fav victims, 9 times killed each. really crazy repair fans i would say.

on a 64 player server you wont see much vehicle drop on arty, hes too busy sending them to his troops for transport...best idea EA had in a long time...i see a couple guys stranded send them a vehicle, i love the message when i cant "no transports are availble in your area commander"

i only play 64's but will cartillery like whoa depending on the situation.... If their commander is good w/arty, then he gets a fair share of vehicles dropped on them, i'll use the vehilces to best help my team, be it for their transport useage, or to keep the CO's assets down.

I've even bagged their CO and/or Engy's from time to time as they're fixing the arty, let 'em get it partially repaired so its back up, and while he's fixing drop another one on it and...booom _____ is no more

Yes, It happens at karkand too.

It happends on every map, not just a few.

It will take out all assets if dropped right. I don't mind snipers, even jets or choppers, but it should not be able to destroy arty, UAV and radar. It means dedicated people just fix all the crap.

i like dropn vehicles on top on comanda tryin to hide takes them a wile 2 figer out whts goin on :p

ive been killing loads of people with vehicle drops, think i managed a good 4 or 5 at once lol

also good for arty killing, sometimes a pain to get it to balance ontop of some arty guns tho.
id rather it be used by squad leaders only tho, totally ruins a feature if a commander can blow assets and drop it on people. as if commanders werent gay enough already with their cheats, one click finds all enemy... 1337!

It's not really new, most of us have known about since 15 minutes after the patch came out. :hmm:

but i imagine this new "bug" will be fixed soon.

I think the abilty to air drop vehicles is ridiculous. While, surely, it can be a great help to an isolated squad, I think the potential for people to use cheeseball tactics like these far outweighs it's benefits.
