You need to learn how to edit BF2 first.

I saw a screenshot on our clan's website and it showed a tank dropped but it landed on the nose/front of the tank.

I don't think there's any way to drop more than one type of vehicle per team per map but it's very easy to mod what vehicle that is. Inside the map's server.zip at the end of init.con look for gameLogic.setTeamDropVehicle; that sets what vehicle drops for each team. (Some maps have this in their GamePlayObjects.con files instead.) You probably won't be able to play on unmodified servers if you do this so make a backup first or do it in a separate mod.
