cant log in to account server?

i load up bf2 then click login the it says connecting to account server then never logs me in it like frezzes the music is still playing and the Cursor is still spinning.

i cant do ctrl alt del it dosnt pop up i just have to keep restarting ????

Im having the exact same problem, everything was working fine than when I try and load up BF2 again it freezes at that screen....

ah right. maybe somethings up with the account server then. it was working last night fine, then i tired it this morning and it keeps freezes.

i think so, evetually mine tells me that "the server has closed the connection"

Thank god not just me....Just installed AF. I try to play it for first time....5 secs into midnight sun my computer freezes and i have to hard reset. Then i get stuck trying to connect to account server 3 times....Phew i thought AF had broke my BF2

I recently had a bad experience with WoW, my account was hijacked and Blizzard being the loving folk they are refused to return my account to me (despite me having everything I need but the password and a telephone number). So for the last 10 minutes I started suspecting that I had been mistakenly reported for some major infraction and my CD key had been revoked...

Any word from the official site or forums? (checking there now myself)

Guess I'll just keep trying.... (first one in should come back and post that it's online)

god first my car needs maintenance so im stuck @ home on a saturday nite now im stuck at home doin nothing since now bf2 needs maintenance
