I have my 109 knife kill and still no knife badge same with the pistol and explosive ordinance badges http://www.bf2player.com/index.php?p...841&show=award..

I thought that you needed a certain amount of knife kills IAR (in a round). Same thing with pistol and explosives.

i think u need to get 7 kills in a round with the knife and 5 kills in a round with the pistol. if u get 7 kills with the knife, u instantly get basic, vet n exp cos u already met the global req of 100 kills. for pistol, once u get 5 kills in that round u get basic, then add another 2 kills in the same round n u get vet pistol. go for it, its not that hard.

Yeah if u go on a knife and pistol server it take no time at all. I got 4 badges and 2 medals in one round. In the pistol kinfe training srever u can get over 600 score in one round the most i got was 350 with 70 kills!

Joining a k/p server is seen as stat padding ... Your stats can and should be reset for that.

Then why are they RANKED servers? Surely BFROE knows about them.

I've never used one of those servers as I've read people here saying the same thing as you.

Because EA are slow to get up off of their asses, but there is always the chance that someone will go on the server, take a screenshot of everyones names and they'll all get their stats reset. Is it really worth it just for a badge? Play on unranked if you want to play k/p.

Those servers are in violation of the rules. Not the players. If all the players on a server suddenly decided to stop using guns, would they all be in violation of the rules? I don't think so. The knife/pistol servers are violating the rules by telling people what weapons to use on their server.

I'm fairly sure that the policy is that everyone found on a K/P server at the time its investigated will have their stats reset.

K/P servers are seen as stat-padding :

- medics getting huge revive and heal scores
- support getting huge support scores
- ...

Someone working at ID3 had the inside info that some servers were closely followed this week ... suspicious stat-owners will be reset during the coming week ...

FACT : the 2nd in the global ranking was reset for playing at k-p servers

I've been on one once, nobody used knife or pistol :p
To be exact the started using automatic guns, when I arrived with an armour and kids just typing: n00b! Knife n pistols only!
My reaction: those servers are against the rules!

and its so easy to kill them... they match up in groups to knife eachother, and the servers have often turned the friendly fire off, so i just put a tank shell right in the middle of the group
