I actually just bought the booster for my friend. He needs to make the EA downloader account, and you have to provide the billing info.

i've never used a debit card online myself but I suppose you must provide your PIN? You could let him use it then change the PIN immediately afterwords...

Make another EA account. Buy the game, and don't have EA remember you account info. Edit whatever information you'd like before you give him this account info. Give him the user name and password to that EA account.

Yeah that's all you have to do.
When I bought EF for a good friend, when it asked for "my" GameSpy ID (BF2 Nick that is) I just punched in his. Burned off a copy of the unencrypted cache for him to install and it was all good. No need for him to see my CC number or anything, he wasn't even in the same state at the time

This isn't how online shopping works, your PIN doesn't come into it at all. Just set up a new EA Downloader account, pay for the game, attach it to his BF2 account and then give him the username and password. Then he doesnt have to come anywhere near your credit/debit card.

He should give you his EA downloader login info so that you can login under his name, and buy it. Just make sure that you don't allow it to store your information. Afterwards, he can login to the downloader and armored fury should be available for download.
