Cheating whats happening?

I remember not so long ago that there was hardly a topic about cheteres. But now everything is. Hes using this exploit. Hes using an aimbot so on so forth. Do you think that bf2 is being hacked?

There are less threads about hacking in particular, but more about exploiting. Exploiting the game with things like macros and getting inside of walls are not hacking.

I agree. I reported two people using the exploit in the wall. But nothing happened seemes liek alot of people have tried to report as well to no avail. I think since its EA's fault that they coded it wrong. (its not an aimbot that you buy) its an exploit and maby they cant ban for exploit its up to the server there playing on to ban them

Wanna know something weird....

I tryed the Karkand exploit in single player to test the glitch out. It works however when ever I start to move around inside I would die instantly. This leaves me to believe that they have something against glitched in single player that they do not have in multiplayer.

I have not and wil not do in multi so if someone who has done it in multi can verify that you can move around inside in multi but not single please post and maybe thats what EA/Dice need to do to fix the problem....include the code that makes you die in single and that it will make you die in multi.

The fix for the problem would include not getting into the building in the first place.

They investigate first the person that have been reported. They don't do anything from one day to the next. Its a slow process. I have reported 2 today and I know they won't do anything unless they know enough information gathered, to wipe their stats.

Simply put, it's like any other game: it takes time before the first cheats spread around, but once they're out and available, many begin to use them. You can barely play CS anymore as a result... and BF2 will turn into the same thing soon enough.

Cheating has nothing to do with winning or lack of skill. Don't know about idiots though. True wallhacks and aimbots are for noobs (and idiots) and easy to spot, I wouldn't be concerned about them.

What I'd be worried about are less visible cheats such as nametags and full minimap. They're more like gaming aids which are extremely deadly in right hands and mostly useless in wrong. Nametag very handy. Not worth a wallhack, but lets you spot enemy a mile away and predict his movements and prepare for fight in close quarters. Enemy jets on minimap is a death sentence for them. You can sneak behind them and avoid them even before they see you. As a commander directing arty fire and airstrikes is way easier. Not a single enemy will sneak through lines because you see them all. This kind of cheats are impossible to fully detect in use cause it could be a spotting, luck or anything. As I said, in unexperienced hands even nametags are useless, but if one is an excellent player alredy he doesn't need much assistance to become god. And you'll never notice the difference, cause there ain't any. It could be just little luck combined with skill or...

I've tested the glitch in Single Player mode, never in Multiplayer. I noticed that the only time you die is if you get close to the "walls" of the building. If you move around in a small space, you stay alive.

Cheating hasn't been that rampant in BF2, and even on the servers I've played, the only thing I've seen the most, which only occurred on ranked was stat padding, though most of that has dissapeared. I have not really seen that much true cheating in bf2, yet, there is allways a time for everything.

I remember almost every post was about cheating. . . This game is so full of glitches it is really hard to tell sometimes. How many times have you unloaded on someone with a G3 from behind, see the dust clouds flying off him, and he turns around and one-shots you with a pistol? Was he hacking or you lagging? tough call. That's why I quit BF2 around December and just started again last week. Nothings changed except I don't get blown up by friendly claymores and at mines.

Cheating and exploiting seems to be getting out of hand. Getting in the walls in karkand is terrible. I've seen whole squads in there. Watch out for this cheater: JaMDuDe
