Graphics help

Ever since patch 1.3 I have had issues with connection dropping. So after calling EA and then based on their advice, installing the latest video driver for my card it was then incompatible and caused my system to crash when playing. So I have gone back to what I think is the original driver and now have wierd graphics - the games works but players look like they are floating and vehicles have no wheels! Help!!!

Here are my specs

128 DDR ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
Driver version - 6.14.0001.6297 date 4/8/2003

What I love about EA support is it isnt there at the weekend - great patch DICE/EA!!

Anyone know what I need to do to make it work again or what driver version I should use?

Use the latest driver but uninstall the old one properly! Use DriverCleaner. Delete your BF2 cache...

Thanks - even if the new driver is noy WHQL logod? Also I am not familiar with DriverCleaner - you run this at the prompt line?

OK - I seem to have fixed this and got it all working again and the connection issues are better (not perfect). I had to go with a newer driver but not the newest one as that keep causing system crashes - who knows why! One more question - the only thing that seems to be inconsistent is VOIP. Is this just a 1.3 patch issue that you have to live with? Any advice much appreciated.
