Who got expert sniper by actually sniping? Without using any vehicles or planes or ground weapon placement.

It actually wasn't that hard. By the end of a round in Wake i had 35 kills / 6 deaths without camping enemy spawn or anything, just sniping on the battle field.

I pity the noobs who get expert sniper in a plane. You have no skill.

its very possible, it sais it takes 35 kills, i get that per round using the m24 and going for headshots only in 64 karkand...even though i dont have enough hours of playing sniper to get the badge, but if i did, i would have earned that badge many many times ... oh im so cool, i know i know.

Got mine through PURE sniping on Wake. After you cap the North bases, its a huge snipefest between airfield and North base.
I went 37 for 8 that round.

i got the veteran with the M24 but it took me many rounds. When i get the hours i am going the tank way

The first time I went sniper in a long time, was yesterday.

Sniper was my first expert, and up until this month, was always my highest played kit... and the last time I played with it constantly, was like... december.

I used to be a really good sniper I remember. Cause all the other games i've played, I have always been the "sniper" so I have other background knowledge.

The other day I went 31-0 as sniper on mashtuur. First time I played sniper in months.. I was surprised.

I have this really awesome spot overlooking the backyard, you are literally invisible. All the enemy can see is muzzleflash, or the red arrow things, which is why, you HAVE to get headshots.. luckly for me the headshots I didn't get where people that were hurt.

1.30 patch with claymores and SVD on Karkand I got 40 kills. Since 1.30 the server resets alot now so I just reconnect and start these long round with 10 people. I get up close and use the SVD at medium, short and point blank range while placing Claymores each time I spawn.

Trying to setup in a spot trying to get kills won't get you the 40 kills, like has been said.

Personally, the SVD/Type-88 is the best sniper weapon at short and medium ranges with its Rate of Fire - 2 or 3 shots kills anyone.

I need about another 30 hours before i can get it, **** gettin it in a plane though, thats not the true sniping way. give me an m24 and its time to tango!

What are you talking about...spawn as sniper with an M95...someone beats you to the plane, TK them though the windshield. I don't do this since many server admins will ban for this (I just wait my turn), but this has happened to me SO MANY TIMES...

the SVD is by far the best sniper rifle if you know how to use it.

I'm working on getting BR to work in create local so i can get a 3rd person view of what it looks like.

But I was on USMC, and I dont like how the scope doesn't zoom in that far.

But it is true... SVD is better than any sniper, if you are in reasonable range.

Mashtuur wouldn't be that hard. I've gotten lots of headshots there by just being aggressive. I'll let you know after my 20 hours left on the kit are up... its my next baby :)

Ghots town + Dragunov + (Good server&ping) = Crazy kills

Remember time while I was practicing to become god with Dragunov. Ghost Town was an ideal place to do that. The only thing cutting down the stream of kills was lack of ammo... Did I get my expert sniper? 178 BR only killing people...

For me.. it'll be a looooooong time yet haha. But i'll probably get it by accident when commanding, such as i got my expert support and expert engineer by commanding aswell.

You can't kill using the commander? Your awarded a kill if you actually run out and kill someone, or snipe in this case. AND DON'T! Cause your their commander

You should have done it in SF . . . you would have gotten Exp Sniper, and Exp Sniper Specialist in one round :p.
