Gun Unlocked, Or Is It???

a couple weeks ago i unlocked my last 2 guns for bf2 the english sniper and the p90. but when i play special forces as the SAS i cant select them. but the weird this is that when i play vanilla the guns are there for me too select. any suggestions on how to fix this? or anybody experiencing the same problem?
all help is aprecciated.

That is how it is supposed to be. All the unlockes allow you to do is use them in vanilla BF2.

NO that is not true. my problem is that the p90 en SAS sniper gun dont replace the normal kit guns for the SAS!! And yes you can use special forces guns in vanilla. or atleast i can. thanxs for the reply though

Um you misunderstood me. Unlocking them ONLY ALLOWS you to use them in BF2 vanilla. Not for other teams in SF.

Yes, so if you're MEC or Spetznaz, you can't use the SCAR-L, you can only use the first tier unlock, the G36. But if you then go into vanilla, you can use any unlock you want. Just trying to clear it up a little more, jimmy norton had a good explanation.

yeah when i first got them it confused me as well. However, i guess in a way its better. THe only thing i dont like is that the P90 and the L96 came as part of a patch. You didnt need SF to unlock them so why cant you use them in SF. It is what it is though

The patch only gave them to people who have SF I believe. If you don't have any SF time on your account then you still don't have those guns regardless of the patch. And just like the other SF unlocks, they can only be used in vanilla.

you i like you comments but it's not they answer. i unlocked teh P90 en L96A1 for the SAS, but they dont replace they M24 and the MP5 when i play SAS. thats the problem, sorry if i wasnt clear enough. does anybody understand now? and know how to help me?

The P90 and L96A1 are second tier unlocks and are only available in Battlefield 2.

The only unlocks available for use in Battlefield Special Forces are the first tier unlocks.

Sorry Dirk, but please try to understand: You cannot use the unlocks in Special Forces. They are basicly "free unlocks" for regular BF2 as an incentive to get you to buy Special Forces Expansion Pack. You will never be able to use the Tier-3 unlocks in Special Forces except in the VERY rare case that the "unlock" is the standard weapon for that army.

yes it is true sf guns u unlock NOT available for sf, just VANILLA bf2
