Personally I stopped caring about their 'stats', I just make sure the server admin gets the proof so they can't play on that server anymore.

I've turned in dozens of people to http://www.bfroe.com and http://www.bf2rankedservers.com who have use glitches or stat padded and nothing has happened to their accounts. So I figure that they don't care to do the policing.

All these people do is keep glitching or stat padding. So what if their score gets reset, unless their CD hash key gets banned they just keep doing it even harder to get their score back to what it was before to unlock the weapons.

The best thing, I think, server administrators should do is have their OWN ban list that they pass umongst each other. Do the bans by hash CD key so people just won't make an alt account...ALL their accounts get banned.

If enough server admins get into this self policing 'network' then these guys will start behaving themselves when they log into a server that says its part of this network.


Here's an example of a recent batch of glitchers I reported recently that have not had their accounts reset, but did get banned by the server admin once I let them know:

Claiming their stats will be "wiped" is the reason people don't do the bad stuff....yet rarely do peoples stats get wiped, it's like speeding; you know it's against the law yet some do it constantly even after they've gotten a ticket.

People feel the need to report people to make themselves feel like they're doing something good for the community because they claim that someone was cheating or haxing or whatever-the-**** it may be...fact is, people SOMETIMES need to calm down and one small instance isn't going to change the community. Fact also is that people do cheat, just hope that admins are on the servers in which you play so said cheaters will get banned.

Just my little rant :) .

wel... i reported this guy half a year ago.... just a few days ago his stats have been whiped... took 'em that long..
