Euro Weapons In Vanilla BF2
ok i was looking in the editors directory today and found euro soliders/weapons. i have vinilla bf2 ver 1.22. but i figured out how to change the regular weapon to a euro weapon. just go into the mod directory under bf 2 click on objects_server. then click on kits go to your desired kit and click on it's .con file and open it in notepad. i will use us_medic for ex.
where it says usrif_m16a2 i went under the C: program files/EA GAMES/Battlefield 2/mods/bf2/objects_server/weapons/handheld
are all the listing of the guns and the euro guns have a prefix of gbrif_
or eurif_.
for example i chose eurif_famas and replaced usrif_m16a2 in the file MAKE SURE you search the name of the weapon you are replacing using notepad or it will crash. when you save under file type change it to all files. when you save it copy/paste it into the kits folder.
B SURE TO MAKE A BACK-UP OF THE ORIGINAL KITS
so there you go!
