Theres a whole bunch of those little EA people. Should check it out. Its in the Credits of Localization files in /EA GAMES/Battlefield 2/mods/bf2/Localization.

sweet they used that google earth program. you should check that out it is a free download and it has pictures like that of the whole world. i could look up my house and stuff
