Some help here please!

I would really appreciate any help, I got the game a week ago never played before never knew about the issues with the patch, my pc specs are;

P4 2.6 Ghz
2 Gig ram
FX5200 Ultra (I know)
SB Live
XP professional sp2 (legal)

The game played fine upon istallation even with my card not being supported, I updated to 1.3 got ctd, unistalled updated to 1.22 ctd again, unistalled did not patch the game and it works, I am upgrading to a
x800gto card, I know there are better cards out there but better=more money I have a budget of $200 and I am planing in building a more updated pc in the coming months, is this card the reason for the ctd or are you guys with supported card having ctd?

What bus port do u have? AGP? If so get a 6800GS. No everyone is getting the CTD's. It is because of the latest patch and AF. When u go to join a game hit escape instead of clicking join game and you wont get the CTD's. And for the 5200, use the 77.77 drivers.

Forgot to mention is AGP and the ctd I get them at start up not while in the game, thanks for the tip in the drivers.
