Assault Class weapon

Is there any option while playing as the assault class to switch the M-16 (M-14, whatever it is) to full auto instead of the burst fire?

Nope.

If you want a full-auto weapon for US assualt class, unlock the G3.

Seeing how it is the m16a2 model, it does not have a full auto option...so thus why in the game they made it the way it is.

Nope. No full auto option. Why would you need it anyway? You will loose like all your accuracy.

me personaly i think the m16 should be full auto to balnce things out,i mean look at the a-10 its not as powerfull as in real life but tey cant even get guns balnced,no im not flaming.

Search the forums first. Its one of the first things you should learn when you play BF2 anyway. You get points, you get rank, you get unlocks.

Dont ask how to get points.

Just keep playin.
When you rank up, you'll be given the choice of new weapons to unlock.
BTW, you can PICK your unlocks. Use the little arrows to cycle through the choices when they come up up (I figure I'll nip this common "oops" in the bud before you're back asking how to unlock different weapons. )

and u do have to play on ranked servers make sure u do that unlike me for my first 2 weeks playing.

I like full auto, it's your choice on how fast you click and how many shots you take. If I've been running around as a med 1st unlock and then pick up a 2nd unlock weapon, I'll sometimes forget to keep clicking in close quarters :hmm: and die

To BF2? Yeah. Played 1942 for years though. Just trying to figure out all the differences.
