How to use a machine gun as a semi-automatic rifle

This may have been reported before, but I think some people may find it useful:

For this, I recommend using a higher-caliber machine gun, such as the PKM, as rate of fire doesn't matter. All you do is you fire your machine gun until it overheats. Now hold down on the trigger and you'll get a slow and steady stream of fairly accurate shots. When you stop holding down on the trigger your gun will begin to cool and you'll have to waste some more ammo before you can get back into semi-auto mode.

This can be useful if you're trying to take out a target at a longer distance and have just overheated.

wy don't you just use burst/single shuts using the "old" way..
i mean you will get shot b4 your gun is overheated right??

Well that was a waste of a thread, i will just do it the way i always do it by at longer ranges, burst fire, my way, gets em easy everytime.

i rather use a headshot. no overheating, burst fire or other crap. 1 bullet does it all the time. especially with the PKM.
