Too many times I see a jet trying to get a heli and flying like a hot air ballon, that plane should fall outta the sky.

I think the fact that they are vulnerable to every other player in the game while slowing down is good enough to keep it as is. Besides, it's difficult to kill a chopper without slowing down and using your cannon.

Yeah, they do stall if you fly high enough. I try my best not to slow down to kill a chopper...I run into them a lot.

These aircraft are so dummed down for this game, too much so I think. You should need a little more skill to fly them, this would seperate the rock stars from the groopies.

I agree, they should be like DesertCombat.

Thats what disappoints me; EA hired the DC devs for BF2, I didn't think the DC devs would let such a "insertbadwordhere" game get relesed.

The J-10 can slow down to a damn near hover... I got in it to test it with my friend. He got in the JSF and hovered while moving forwards, and I brought the J-10 to it's lowest speed.

It was just about the same speed... thats pretty BS.

Yeah I agree too. I always used to fly choppers and it's just plain (plane? :-) rubbish.

The choppers are so stupidly sluggish it feels like you're driving a bus. And, to land, you just go hands off and power down - what a load of bollocks. I really don't find myself getting better in choppers like I used to in DC - it was a hill to climb but when you get good and make perfect landings, geting in and out fast it was great and I loved throwing the choppers round, hard turns, etc but I hate the wooden feel of the choppers in BF2.

Yes still, but the J-10 should not be going 190-200 mph...:laugh:

That is literally... chopper speed. lol.. I can get the BH up to 400. I don't know if thats MPH or what... knots or something.. I have no idea, but I can get the BH AND cobra to get faster than the slow moving J-10. rofl.

Maybe it was just trying to land. Wouldn't be a very bad idea to make planes land in order to re-arm instead of a quick swoop. This would really make a differance between good and bad pilots.

That would bring an end to the raping from the air of the carier and so on. And the carpet bombing of troops on land.
It's just a great idea.

lol, reminds me of the old DC days where you would land the plane on a spot just as big as the plane itself, slow down, fly over and let it drop down the last meter. :p
