well, i know the game does stutter for a second when you prnt scrn.

but seeing how i dont have my graphics all sexafied like yours, i dont see any visual drops.

odd bug..seems to turn your AA off.

            EXACTLY!

I've always had problems taking screenies in BF2. First it was BSD's and complete crashes.

Those have gone away, and I can take screenies, but whenever I do, All the AA I had enabled seems to be "disabled" just like that. Screen quality becomes absolutely terrible, with jaggies and edges everywhere.

Have no idea what causes this, and this prevents me from ever taking screenies.

Are you using the ingame screencap or the fraps one?

Yeah, the in-game screenshot function doesn't work very well. You'd sooner be better off buying a copy of Fraps and taking screenshots with that. It doesn't lag the game up when taking ss's like BF2's function does.

Or else try xfire. I don't use it personally, but Kooper says it works well. Might want to give that a go, as well.

I think the lag in bf2 default screen cap is because its doing a normal uncompressed cap aswell as making a jpg of it. its probably the jpg compression part that causes bf2 to lock up for 3 or so seconds.
