Looking at setting up my own server for BF2 and i was wondering what type of system setup i'd need or how i'd go about renting space from a true server, i have a spare computer here that i'd like to use if i could any help guys?

You're going to need the server files from here: http://www.ea.com/official/battlefie...downloads.jsp# but beyond that I really can't help you much. I can tell you that it won't be ranked if you were hoping to go that route. EA wanted to make as much money as possible, errr I mean uphold the integrity of the recorded stats so ranked servers can only be furnished from specified sources (click on the Rent Server tab in game, I don't know the link off the top of my head).
Good luck on getting everything up and running though.
