Difference in Insurgent ribbon time and Insurgent medal time.

When looking at my stats, my Insurgent Forces Service Ribbon shows 37:20 hours in Insurgent Theatre, yet my Insurgent Special Services Medal only shows 08:21 hours as an insurgent.

Whys that? Is the time in theatre measured even if I'm playing as SAS?

I do mostly play Warlord but I play SAS and Insurgent equally..

Exactly.
AFAIK "Insergent forces theatre" is time spend in maps where they are as one of forces. But for medal you need play on their side.
