Name already in use?

When I purchased AF I had to do it twice because I have 2 networked computers.

The first one went fine, I put in my account name 'KEKHAN' and it downloaded and installed. When I purchased it again on a separate EA account on my other computer it kept saying 'MYGLYD' name already in use so I tried putting the clan tag with it and it done it.

Problem now is it keeps saying that I need to purchase AF when using Myglyd..... I tried changing the linked username and taking the tag off but it still keeps saying username already in use.

Anyone help?

Are you referring to your BF2 accounts or the EA downloader accounts? Remember, they're DIFFERENT. I'm not sure, but if I were to do this I would set up 2 seperate EA downloader accounts, one on each machine, and then proceed with the purchase...

Thats what I did, I bought on 1 computer with the username kekhan and the other machine as kekhan3

Ok I can see what happened, I bought Euro Force with KEKHAN017 and that's linked to Myglyd. KEKHAN03 apparently cannot be linked to the same user account....... FFS!



EDIT: To make things work i log onto ea downloader as KEKHAN017 to see if it's available to pay and download again and AF isn't even listed as available... just a trailer.

Click on Trailer and then on the Download Now Button which appears with the trailer.

If anyone has the same problem its because 2 EA Accounts cannot point to the same BF2 username. I had to change the BF2 name on my account that i bought EF with to be able to point AF to BF2. :s

No, looks like i'm going to have to change it everytime. Unless we can get EA to move our purchase to another account, or let multiple EA accounts point to the same BF2 name.

i've spoken to EA customer service over here in Germany...thank god i can speak a bit of german,and apparently its a common problem ,they're sending me a form to fill out ..hopefully they're gonna take my info from both accounts and merge them..fingers crossed

just had an email from them and i had to supply my bf2 name and both serial numbers and account names for EF and AF..gotta wait out now

got an e mail back today from EA support Germany,they've fixed my problem,just tested...both games now under one account..
