Newbie Questions: So I just came back after like a yr of not playing

Hi guys, I just started playing bf2 agian and man alot has changed since last summer!

I had a few questions about the new unlocks as it seems the devs did some work on BF2 HQ while I was gone ...

it used to be that you could goto bf2 HQ and goto the page that shows the unlocks and just click "unlock kit" in BFHQ but now i cant seem to find the unlock kit botton anywhere else besides the window that pops up when i log in

I notice that there are Two choices of unlocks per kit now but when i start up the game it only lets me unlock 1 of the 2 guns each kit has not even showing the 2nd choice of guns that they show in BF HQ ... how come ? are they for the "booster packs" ?

Do you mean the 2nd unlock to the primary of each kit only available with the SF Expansion?

so those 2nd unlocks are only for the special forces expansion?

play 1 second of special forces and you'll have the new unlocks.

simple as that

don't buy it - just find someone who has it and login and play 1 second of SF on thier computer

SF still has some cool toys to play with in game that I wish were availabe in BF2.
Didn't realise I didn't have to buy it to get the unlocks though.
