Did a little test..

Dumped 2 more gig in the box for a total of 3g PC4000 OCZ. cranked up the game as high as it will go with the X1800XT 512 Master Single card

4xAA / 8xAF

just did it to mess around a bit,

with 1G and a mixture of HIGH / MED settings the game really doesnt look that much different,,

but sure plays alot smoother..

think I will leave it like this

My extra stick of ram arrived today. I'm at work, but can't wait to get home and run a little test myself. Now I have 2gb instead of just one. Will I be able to see a big difference?
I hope so. If not visually at least in load times.

*drool*........... man, i HATE my card. 5500. everthing that can be off is off, and only texture, effects, geometery,and umm...... somthing else lol r on medium, with everything else on low

it does. i got another gig about a month ago, and the load times, while till long, are shorter. also, ur comp will run faster. i could probably up my settings a bit more, but then id start to get lag
