Leviathan - MECSF night vision?

I've not played the Leviathan map many times, so can anyone tell me whether MEC special forces should have night vision. I played last night and the default button (or any other random buttons I pressed) didn't work. Has this happened to anyone else?

If the MEC should have NV then something's up with my settings. Or is it 1.3 maybe? :laugh:

I hate night maps at the best of times, so I ended up fighting round the sub pens for most of the round, having walked in front of an APC in the dark on THREE occasions. :dead:

I am not 100% i havent played SF in awhile but i think you should have NV

There is definitely night vision for MECSF on that map. As far as why your's wasn't working, I have not a clue.

Actually, the OBC and Freddyshouse and Ph33r servers all play it. Freddy and Ph33r also play devil's perch and night flight.

Yeah, you should have night vision, maybe the guy who used it before broke it lol. I dont like night maps myself, the night vision takes too long to recharge.

I think EA is stupid for not giving the gunners/tanks/apcs unlimited night vision. A vehicle like a tank or a gunner on a helicopter would have. It would run off the battery in the helicopter, just like the pilot has. Its completely crap to be flying around or even driving around in armor and have your night vision just go out. I can understand maybe the arcade feel for infantry, but lets get real a 5 minute battery?

I'd like to offer an opinion, but it comes up so rarely in a server rotation that I've never actually played it! And I've had SF since before Christmas.

Its rare, and most of the time its the europe servers running it.

yes, MEC has night vision. I was playing it just a week or so ago. Awesome map to fly around!!!!

I played Leviathan just this weekend. The MEC team does indeed have night vision.
