I didn´t buy EF and won´t buy Af until they fix the bugs.
Vexar you are copletly right, lots of people whines about how crappy 1.3 is, but lots of those whiners will continue to buy the XPacks.
People don´t understant that until we damage the Ea´s wallet they will not care.

I cant say I liked C&C Generals, the C&C, C&C:RA and C&C:TB were good but it went down hill from there imo.

I can get you to buy SC no problem.

Vexar I can hear you but you're posting to the average 14 old who can hardly spell 'protest'. So don't expect too much enthusiasm. The kids get a new game and either they like it or they bug their parents for a new one.
good luck teaching them foreign words like 'consumer rights' or 'quality assurance' ...

I know, but 14's can learn, I did. All I can tell them is I have been making games for 17 years, this opinion is coming from someone who worked at EA for 7 years, loves the BF franchise, and hates to see problems that can be solved, but are not for greed / mismanagment.

I am also speaking to the people that I used to work with, they know that me spending my time like this is not something I do everyday. I want them to fix how they are working internally on the products, I fought this crap when I did work there, and now I am starting to do it when I see something like this happening.

MOH, BOND, C&C, Superman, just look at the history a bit if you haven't already, Superman missed its date, and continues to burn, DVD release? I will bet right now they do not make that date either. MOH has never recovered from the greedy thinking of the EALA management, they are all fired now. Great, I was glad to see it. Bond is at Activision now, EA let that go after FRWL, on and on and on...

I have been a fan of EA products since Skyfox when I was 14. EA can be fixed they have only lost their way at the moment.

I suspect I too will purchase this new "patch" and frankly I look forward to it. In the history of Battlefield I don't recall one patch that the community was thankful and happy with.

I also understand the many complaints being made, however I highly doubt that EA or its employees will address the various issues being mentioned. I also doubt that a "strike" will produce the results you are looking for.

On a positive note if your accolade's are truthful, I thank you for you help and support to this community.

Vexar i totaly agree with you and i have dumped my 6 ranked bf2 servers last week. After months of trying to keep them up and with these patches and the way EA is working i am not going to spend 1 more cent.

Also these patches have broken every fun i had in the game. My cents are going back to Valve, a company which do know how to it works.

And vexar please do not listen to these 'sheeps' who are naggin you. There will be always be 'sheep' who do not care and want to be lead.

At E3 the whole 2142 setup crashed all at once. It seemed as if they had it setup to just go black if one of the stations crashed. Not sure but they rebooted all the **** and restarted it.

There will be no walking mechs or some flying vehicles in maps over 32 player size

Most of the time these kind of statements you quote here, come from kids....

If you want to know, without US guys beeing to serious you would not have 1 single server online for YOUR own pleasure. Because of us, you can enjoy your game.

All these servers you play on are setup by SERIOUS players who want to play the game.
Now if those SERIOUS players can not complain about issues which are ongoing now for about 1 year, without beeing attacked by people like you and many more, what would this world coming to ?

Because we do our best to maintain the servers and put our time in to it YOU THE NOT SERIOUS PLAYER can play.

Now i am not serious anymore and i do not like the way EA is going, i have dropped 6 ranked servers.

Means 3 x 64 player servers and 3 x 32 servers are gone. Total of 288 player slots. All paid out of my own pocket for YOUR pleasure.

Hope you do not post these kind of immature posts again and think about how it's really cooking..

I'm unsure of Skwurl's age, but at 54 you're too young to be my father. :) There's nothing immature about not getting hot and bothered over an online game, which even though it has provided me with many hours of entertainment, if it disappeared tomorrow I wouldn't give a toss, because, "It's just a f***ing game".

What's "really cooking" is global warming, third world debt, terrorism, unjust invasions of middle eastern territories, how much I've in the bank and which pub to visit at the weekend...
Get your priorities right and the world would be a better place..

not to get offtopic here but i have to react on this :

So because 'real life' is passing by i (we) can not complain about issues we are experiencing. You make it sound like i am only concerned aboutBF2 and nothing else. And priorities ? what do you know what my priorities are ? Not only BF2.

I have seen a lot in this world and if you do want to know, i have worked for 9 nine years in the desert of nigeria in africa to help people. I have seen so many people die in my arms it's sick. I know damn well what is cooking in this world. So please do not use this kind of comment on me to out smart me because it's not coming even close....

And that is the last thing i want to say about this before i accidently hijack this topic...
