    Mines teamkill in 1.3?

I havent played BF2 in a while and i was wondering about this. I thought that they were never gonna bring it back. I realized it because every claymore i planted ended up teamkilling someone. Why did they bring this back?

Its not a matter of bringing something back mate, its a server option meaning that the admins have the option to turn friendly fire on or off. You must have played a server with friendly fire on, like i normally do.

I dont really care if the server has it or not, it all says 0 and i get disconnected after 1 min ingame, i get lucky of i stay in the game for more than a round. Usually FF is off, but i avoid them just incase

1 Just try not put them in stupid places. Nothing more irritating as a tank driver to be bound into a base because mines have been placed EVERYWHERE. Not to mention running certain directions as the best attacking entrance, or defensive running away for that matter, and someone has laid down claymores. mofo.
2 Tell the dumbass running into your strategicly placed claymore or mine that the big well pointed out RED skull and cross bones (not to mention extra side skull??) are B A D .. spell it out slowly for them or even yell it in their ear!
3 Don't use too frequently, or in sections hard to see which way the claymore is possibly facing.
4 A tip, don't put your claymores in front of the ladder, an enemy can see it, say holyshyt, jump down without being killed. Instead place the left or right aimed at the ladder (but not facing you). Then when they get up, the see the coast is clear, get ready to crack out a knife and climb up and BOOM. splat. whatever. 2points up. place another claymore, or move your ass before he comes back with a vengance to kill you and only you. (No doubt via grenades)

They brought it back for realism. I prefer FF on. Only makes sense in my head.

GOOD! Your gaymores should cause you extreme pain and suffering. It is a server side option.

If FF is on for mines,... they TK. You'll never find this in large servers.

Sorry boots, but i beg to differ with you there mate. GA is arguably the largest server provider in the country, and they ALWAYS have FF on.

Play on the xtra servers, they just punish you for it if they are dumb asses who punish for every accidental tk. But they don't kick or ban for excessive claymore tk.
