did it just start doing this, Have you installed anything new or added hardware? Maby installed a new Mod? Give some more info for us to go on. -

You really need to include aLOT more information than just a vague description of a problem. Hardware stats, what OS you're using, what service pack you have, which drivers you currently have, overall stability of your computer, etc.
Also, you'd probably get more help in the tech support subsection. If you want, pm me and I'll move this thread there for you.

ok, i just got a new motherboard, ram, and a Thermaltake purepower 500W psu, i upgraded from a 450W my motherboard is a biostar pt8800prothe ram i used to have was 1 gig dual channel, but i switched this out because they werent working in my dads computer (i still have 1 gig dual channel). i am currently running the 81.98 driver for my nvidia 6600GT, along with my motherboard i got a new processor, a p4 3.0 ghz cedar mill core. Im running windows xp service pack 2 and bf2 patch 1.3 I dont know which of these would cause this, also just recently the screen has been blacking out and only some of the oblects render such as trees, but i cant move and its frozen, maybe this info will helpComment

Have you overclocked?
Have you checked temps via bios, motherboard monitor, etc..?
After 1.3 I had to lower my multiplier from 11.0x to 9.0x and its been super steady since - was CTD'ing like whoa before hand.Comment

no i do not o/c and my vid card runs at about 80 degrees C and my processor at around 40 degrees CComment
