Played my first round of BF2 online today...

I recently got my internet all blarin' and ready to go and decided to play BF2 today online for the first time since I have had the game. I have to say that it was a blast. I played on a Japanese server that was on Kubra Dam and quickly joined the USMC. Right off the bat I got 2 kills on the lower dam. The round was made even better by having a couple top tier pilots. One was named something like Lar0o and the other dude had BMW in his name. At one point in time I was gunning for one of them and we had gone on quite the streak with him providing me a stable platform from which to shoot off my Hellfires. Suddenly, some MEC guy with Racoon in his name fires off a TOW from the Lower Dam and kills us. My spawn point was set to the Lower Dam and when I spawned he was still there! So what do I do? Naturally I pulled out my knife and stabbed him. Obviously he wasn't thinking about the enemy base not 30 meters behind him.

I finished 3rd on the map with a score of around 30. I had a blast and look forward to more battles soon. You'll see me as Spec. Losinski.

I just realized I made that same mistake! Crap...all for naught! :laugh: Oh, well....at least it was positive!

LMAO...now I see what you mean. I just got on a ranked server and got owned. 9 deaths, 5 kills in one round and the next I quit because there was a dude enjoying himself spawn killing in a tank. I couldn't do crap, and he killed me around 4 times in a row. Oh well...I'm 1/3 of the way to Private First Class! First unlock will be...?

Everybody I know who play the game makes that mistake, funny if they worked so hard and at the end of the server, got a gold or silver star, but id doesnt show up in the BFHQ. THats how to practice multiplayer before you show up for ranked

I think I played for a month on unnranked servers before a friend advised me of the 1.22 update.. So I did. I used to own on the non upgraded bf2, and had never heard of spawn rape nor claymore war, or meds stat padding, or the infamous karkand grenade rain.. So, feeling stupid again, that was about to change! haha. First game I played I got a purple heart and never saw much other than the respawn timer.. till I quit haha. right. that was insane..
Slowly but surely I caught on to all the tactics used and pulled them off myself. Score of 2 gradually becomes a score of 122 in a month

The best way to learn is to squad up and follow your squad leader, hopefully he/she is ranked higher than pfc :p .

Well, today I was on the Trinity game server on Shaqri and played as MEC. I had my best round of all time, only to lose my connection. Oh well...I'm learning fast, I've got the basic assault and the Bronze Star so far, plus I moved up one in rank. I always make sure that I move with another teammate in case I run into trouble. I'm having trouble with the whole dive and shoot thing though. Oh, and I hate...no...I LOTHE bunnyhoppers!

The best wat to learn and have fun in battlefield 2 is be entering the 21 Centuray Warfare tourment it's free.

I've got a question for you: Why does the handle "EVO Reaper of Souls" sound so damn familar? Oh, and today on a ROX server I got my Basic Sniper and Basic Special forces badges, and am 25 points from moving to Lance Corporal.
