Lost My Cd Key!!

Well I used to play BF2 back in the day and havent played it for a while. I reformated my HD and today I felt like playing BF2. I opened up the case and my instruction booklet was gone. I think my mom may have trashed it after I left it on the desk. How would I get a CD key to install it? just call EA and like read a number on the DVD or something? I dont want to use a ielligal key and get my account banned.

My friend had the same problem, you can get a new one for $10 with proof that you have the disk

You send them one of the original disks and a $10 money order, and they issue you a new CD key within a few days. They ship your disk back to you and send you the new CD key via email.

Happened to me as well a couple of weeks ago, but thankfully it only cost me $10 rather than $40 for a new Battlefield 2 box.

Or you can use the Search button and find it in the registry...that is free.

when ever you get a game that has a key write the damn thing on the disk with perment marker.
