my map

i have made an map in bf2 editor and need help to getit to work.

i cant find it when i start bf2 and try make an local server. its not on the list what to do?

ou have to put your map in bf2 levels,like put it here,:C/program files/EA GAMES/battlefield2/mods/bf2/levels.....thats where ya put it

yikes, did you do the EA tutorial?
A map needs an init.con file otherwise BF2 will not see it.

a friend is having the same problems its not on his map list atall, yet there is both an init.con file and its stored in the correct place.

Any other suggestions?

Have you got a mylevel.desc file in your info folder? I forgot to include this as it didn't get packaged from the editor. This meant my m8s couldn't find it in the map list.
