Infantry Only Server-Final + Custom Map Basrah Streets

The Dissidents Infantry Only Server is now back up and running with the following tweaks:

No Arty
No UAV
No Radar Scan
No Armor
No Helicopters

Map list is as follows

Basrah Streets 16
Strike At Karkand 16
Songhua Stalemate 16
Sharqi Peninsula 16

32 player limit, 2 rounds each map.

Basrah Streets was a USI map that was converted for use in vanilla BF2.

Extract the contents to your BF2 levels folder.

I didn't convert the map. I downloaded the map in a map-pack. All I did was put it on my server.

Is your server actually populated? I didn't think all the rank nubs would play custom maps, and where is it located? (country)

Yes, we get quite a few once our clan gets in there. Really, this is for competitive players to keep their infantry skills sharp. A place where they won't have to worry about arty or armor....add in the lack of UAV and radar scans gives a whole new dimension to the game....kinda like how Bf1942/DC and BFV were. It's nice to be able to sneak around. You can still spot people but now it's about teamwork.

But still, the general n00b populace might find it fun to play a different style. Hell, no UAV/arty caters to snipers and the pub community if full of them lol.

I just find it very fun to play infy only.
