You need to be playing coop to have access to the bot sliders which are located directly above the map selection column.
To create singleplayer coop, go to multiplayer\create local\ change the drop down from conquest to coop, select your maps. If you're playing by yourself, change the max number of players to 1 or else you will get a message about waiting for at least one more player to join, accross the middle of your screen.
