Crashing when pressing the Join button

Have you tried reinstalling?

If that doesn't work try doing a manual uninstallation. It sometimes helps, where a normal uninstallation doesn't:

That happens to me sometimes
just start the game again and join a server

happens to me to,but for some reason it doesnt do it on internode servers so i play on them

This also happens to me and the work around is easy. Do not press the join button right away, count to 10 and then click it. It works for me. Another thing that makes my computer crash to windows, changing kits before respawn. If I change with 1 sec before respawn it kicks me.

errr wow...thats defo something i need to try... That would imply that BF2 issnt done loading. Isnt one of the 1.3 Patch details "faster verifying" ? Looks like its TOO fast now lol:cry:

Got it too, 9 out of `0 times, so do hundreds of people.
And if i get in that one time, its "Connection lost" or "Connection Problems"
EA can stcik those patches up their arse.
DICE and EA are on my Shoppingbanlist from now on.
