knife and pistols only.....stats erased?

I've heard that you can get your stats reset by EA by going on this server for statpadding.......my son went on one of these servers last night and he got his basic and veteran pistol, and his basic knife within 3 rounds......

He already had 120 pistol kills, and 90 something knife kills, but these were random and didnt get the 5 and 7 in 1 round .....(as do I).....

.. I warned him that I've read that he could get stats reset if he's not careful......

Statpadding aside, it looked like a blast to play on that server for a change of pace....

Is the only way to have stats reset by having someone send a screenshot to EA..?:|:

No, servers sometimes check their logs and if ea sees that people have been getting mucho high points in a round then they will look into it. Tell your son to not do it anymore, its a long process but it is possible

If I were to send the K/P server IP to EA, and they found proof of your son, or anyone else playing, your son's statistical information will be wiped.

The reason I asked is because in another thread someone posted a link to the top "Statpadders for knife" and I saw people with knife scores in the thousands who were obviously still active and not reset after months of playing..........would you be reset for having 50 knife or pistol kills over 3 rounds?

You'd be reset no matter what - K/P servers are against the R.O.E.

Well i ended up with vet knife badge from those type of servers when i first played the game...not knowing about rules and such.
They can feel free to wipe my stats if they wish but i'de wager they are a bit busy with 1.3 feedback atmo.
Plus i hear you can find those pistol/knife rules in legal non ranked servers.

Whatever i've read this argument a million times and the only way you can get your stats wiped is if someone screenshots you doing it and your score. Trust me i know a bunch of the BFRS guys and i've had many conversations about what exactly can you get your stats wiped for, if your on a K/P server but your going around and using different kits and weapons your score can still get pretty high up there with a high Kill to death ratio. But if someone screenshots you in the big pile with your knife or pistol out and then screenshots the scoreboard with you being at the top with some outrageous score than they can send it to http://www.bf2rankedservers.com/ were they can report you. Then it gets reviewed and maybe sent onto EA for wiping, but still sometimes EA never takes any action for what ever reason.

That was the anwser that I was looking for.....did EA ever actually reset someone for just being on the server with maybe 12 kills overall per round or were only the huge kife scorers getting reset....thanks

I turn in roughly 25 - 30 knife pistol servers daily along with all the players playing on them,

hopefully your son isnt in those reports,

but how fair is it for him to receive his veteran badges cheating while other had to work hard to get them and some still dont have them...

I agree...I am close to Gunnery myself, and still need both those badges...I have about 100 pistol kills and maybe 15 knife kills overall, but hav'nt concentrated on just getting those kills in a round ......partly because i was mistaken in having to get 7 & 5 kills in 1 round WITHOUT getting killed.....not overall, which of course at least makes it doable.....

there are so many other ways that cheaters /hackers are wracking up huge scores...I do feel it really is kind of a minimal infraction in padding.....but I do definately see your point....

For my part, I will get the badges in a regular server, but I have to say I really dont care what anyone else does...to me I just dont care, I have my own personal satisfaction in my gameplay....... .

I think one reason things are slow from EACS is everyone is dealing with the patch issues right now, I notice a backlog in our reporting system on their end...

hopefully they will get caught up soon..
