hi, ive just bought bf2 and spec forces again after a long lay off.
when im playin the game it sometimes goes back to windows...what is this problem...ive got the patch 1.22 but cant run any of the new patches...can you tell me where im goin wrong...it`s gettin on my tits now

yes. you have to download the full 400+ MB patch and all will be well. sort of :laugh:

are you using the EA downloader to load the patches? , i tried downloading the 1.3 patch from 3 different sources and couldn't install any of them, but from the EA downloader it worked fine.

So, you bought the game twice?

Uninstall the game, reboot
Run defrag twice, reboot
Install BF2, reboot
Install SF, reboot
Install full 1.3 patch, reboot
Update videcard drivers, reboot

Log into game, get lag, punch keyboard, reboot
Adjust video settings ingame, reboot
Try playing on another server,CTD
Try playing with videosettings on low, CTD, reboot
