Chopper teamwork for next patch

Even though I doubt there will be a new patch or even a patch to fix the 1.3 patch . . . I think there should be a fix for the chopper pilots that like to fly by themselves (gunner and pilot). They should make it so that after a certain altitude has been reached you cant switch to gunner seat.

I personally think that will make it better for teamwork in the skies and make it a little more realistic.

Read a couple posts, nuff said! Deal with the game the way it is. I think that these sh!tty posts should stop, it's one reason why the game is all f**ked in the first place, people wanting this, and that, and the other.

Well, if no-one wants to get in the chopper with me for whatever reason, I don't see why I shouldn't be able to fulfil both roles.

A patch should adress the technical problems in a game. Like optimization, fixing graphical glitches, etc. you cannot patch the ethicls of a player. You cannot make someone a team player with a patch.

This is not a reality simulator guy. These issues have been beat to death in the last 2 weeks. What really makes for better teamwork is being able to use ventrilo, teamspeak, or VOIP to tell your pilot/gunner what to do.

ehhhh it's not that big a deal. any awsome solo pilot, isn't as effective as even a half decent pair, the extra time to line up shots, and get back out, is asking for anything to hit it, and now that you can lock onto a person in the gunner seat, AA eats it alive. All the soloers I've faced, have almost always gone down, or they rarley win a chopper duel. They can only really get the drop on you with the first TV, something that takes a couple seconds less with a pair in a chopper, and is really more about luck if it's in motion. Soloers after that first TV, are deat meat, or have to escape, getting more then one TV off, becomes trickier, were as with a pair, constant TVing in a duel is doable.

I thought they made it so choppers dropped out of the sky almost as soon as the pilot changed seats? I don't fly much, but I thought this issue was already taken care of by the last patch.

If you want to stop "sh!tty" posts, then quit posting messages like the one quoted above!

Personally when it comes to the idea of altitude patch, I don't really care either way. Generally speaking, ideas that improve teamplay are OK by me!

Seat switching sucks and should be removed.

It goes against the spirit of this game in every possible way.

Solo chopper is the most fun part of the game for me...

And no, you can still evade locks in co-pilot seat...
Just not 100% of the time, but then, it didnt work 100% before, so I see no change...

i dont, choppers keep getting weaker and weaker every patch. i mean the ****ty flares dont work and u cant switch seats to break the lock anymore, pilot has less missiles, the tv distance was shortened, and now u wanna nerf it even more? wtf. it would be a sad day to see solo choppering being nerfed

They already jacked up the chopper enough making the tv range 400m, only giving us 8 missiles per batch, and increasing the accuracy of AA. If nobody wants to get in the chopper with me then I should be able to switch back and forth.....wtf is with you people wanting to F up every fun part of the game. Whine Whine Whine...jets, helicopters, people with more skill are going to kill you. deal with it instead of trying to change the game, so skill isn't a factor anymore.
